On the afternoon of April 11th, 2024, Organization and Human Resource Management Teaching and research section of the Department of Business Administration held the 24th Academic Seminar in Conference Room 815 of the Teaching Library Building. The theme of the conference was "Application of Situational Experiment in Management and Organization Research and Organizational Practice". Qi Shuting, a postdoctoral fellow jointly trained by China University of Political Science and Law and China Minsheng Bank ,delivered a lecture, and chaired by Professor Wang Ting, Professor Fang Zhulan and all teachers and students of Organization and Human Resource Management Teaching and research section attended.

During the first phase of the conference, Dr. Qi Shuting gave a keynote speech. Starting from the process of developing the situation experiment and her own experience of developing the situation experiment, Dr. Qi Shuting elaborated on the steps and precautions of developing the situation experiment research from three perspectives: the introduction of the situation study of management and organization, the introduction of the situation experiment case in the study and the application case of the situation experiment in the organization.

During the second phase of the conference, the teachers and students discussed the contents of Dr. Qi Shuting's theme paper. Wang Ting, Fang Zhulan, Gu Fan, Mu Fengli, Wang Hui, Wang Yao, Deng Xiao, and the participants discussed the research design, sample selection, experimental procedures, methods of identity arousal and the integration of economics and organizational psychology. Such issues as these have been heatedly discussed.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Wang Ting made a concluding speech. Professor Wang Ting pointed out that the situational experiment is an important method of organizational research. Dr. Qi Shuting has rich experience in the situational experiment research. The sharing of Dr. Qi deepens our understanding of the situational experiment. In the follow-up study, we will continue to communicate with Dr. Qi and apply the results of this meeting to scientific research.
So far, the 24th Conference of Organization and Human Resource Management teaching and research section of the Department of Business Administration has been successfully concluded.
