Relying on the undergraduate program of Business Administration established in 1995, the Business School of China University of Political Science and Law was formally established in 2002 on the basis of integrating the faculty and teaching resources of economics, management and law. The education of economics can be traced back to the Teaching and Research Section of Political Economy in 1952, which began to enroll postgraduate students in Political economy in 1979 and obtained the right to award the master's degree in Political economy in 1986. In 2006, he began to train doctoral students. In 2007, he took the lead in exploring the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents in law and business, and won the Beijing Excellent Education and Teaching Achievement Award for many times. As a new force in economics education and research in China, business schools undertake the great mission of training top-notch innovative economic and management talents, building China's independent knowledge system, and making suggestions for the country's economic and social development.
As a full member of the International Association of Elite Business Schools AACSB and CFA, the School of Business has four undergraduate majors: Economics, Business Administration, International Business and Financial Engineering, among which three majors: Economics, International Business and Business Administration have been selected as national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and Financial Engineering and Business Administration have been selected as Beijing first-class undergraduate major construction sites. At the same time, the construction of "Cheng Siwei modern financial elite class"; It has the right to grant doctoral degrees in the first-level discipline of theoretical economics, and has five second-level doctoral programs under it, among which world economics is a key discipline in Beijing; Theoretical economics, applied Economics and Business administration are three first-level disciplines to grant master's degrees, and 11 second-level disciplines to offer master's degrees; 4 master's programs in Business Administration, Finance, International Business and auditing; At the same time, it has also built a postdoctoral mobile station of the first-level discipline of theoretical economics.
In the country's journey to achieve higher quality development, higher level of opening-up and modernization of national governance, the goals and tasks of the Business School of China University of Political Science and Law are: By virtue of the disciplinary advantages formed by the university's first-class law, we are committed to cultivating high-quality economic management talents with the characteristics of the integration of law and business and the background of law, and forming disciplinary and professional advantages. These features include, but are not limited to, legal economics, economic security, business format analysis, digital economy, industrial allocation, business big data, business environment, comparative economy, default management, corporate governance, forensic accounting, legal management, and corporate governance.Audit supervision, technology transformation, business risk and debt restructuring; Through the study of economy and business, students can deepen their understanding of society, so as to serve the society and the country, and eventually become high-level composite talents in the new era who can understand the internal logic of business and law, and whose vision covers economy and society and practice across the domestic and foreign countries. The Business School has 77 full-time teachers, including 27 professors and 29 associate professors. The teachers with senior titles account for 73% of the total teachers, the teachers with doctoral degrees account for 99% of the total teachers, and the teachers with overseas study or further education experience account for 62%. In the past five years, a total of 111 national, provincial and ministerial level and important horizontal projects have been obtained. At present, the university has a total of 1894 full-time students, including 973 undergraduate students, 413 double bachelor's and double degree students, 120 academic master's students, 81 doctoral students; Finance, international business and audit professional master 94 people, MBA professional master 537 people (full-time 213 people).
Business school graduates have the knowledge structure of business, legal business and financial business, solid theoretical foundation and strong practical ability, and high employment quality. Nearly half of the undergraduate graduates are recommended or admitted to the university and other first-class universities in China, as well as to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries famous universities for further study. Graduates are mainly employed by government management departments at all levels, financial institutions and well-known enterprises at home and abroad.
At present, the Business School has established long-term and close cooperation relations with many well-known universities and academic institutions in the United States, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, France and other countries and regions. Every year, through various cooperation and exchange programs of the school and college, dozens of teachers and students are sent to overseas exchange and study, dozens of long-term and short-term overseas experts are hired to lecture at the school, and many overseas students come to study and visit the school, and the degree of internationalization is constantly improved.
