Department of Financial Accounting

The department was built upon the former Research Institute of Accounting established in 2008. The staff of the department includes 3 professors, 3 associate professors and 5 lecturers. Among these staff, 91% of them have doctoral degrees; two of them are doctoral supervisors, and 7 of them are master supervisors. The department also retains 16 off campus mentors.

Yang Shizhong, Distinguished Professor

Yang Shizhong, Professor, PhD supervisor, Ph.D. in Management from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is a distinguished professor of Business School of CUPL. He had served as the dean of the School of Accounting, deputy secretary of the school party committee, vice president, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection, and chairman of the labor union of Capital University of Economics and Business.

Yin Meiqun, Vice Dean of CUPL Business School

Yin Meiqun, Professor, PhD supervisor, Chinese certified public accountant. She is the member of the Accounting Education Committee of the Chinese Accounting Association and the director of the Chinese Accounting Association. Her works have been published in journals such as Management World and Accounting Research. Yin has been visiting scholar at the Stockholm School of Economics, Aarhus University in Denmark, Hanken University in Finland, and Iowa State University in the United States.

Xia Ning, Head of Financial Accounting Department

Xia Ning, Head of Financial Accounting Department, Professor. He is the independent director of a listed company of a central enterprise. He has presided over several projects above provincial and ministerial level and published more than 40 papers in Chinese core journals. From November 2012 to May 2013, he was a senior visiting scholar at Clemson University in the United States. From 2017 to 2020, he has been an academic exchange and taught MBA at Capton University in Canada for five times.
