Professor Hu Jiye, Executive Deputy Director of the MBA Center, first gave a lively and interesting English speech on how to integrate advanced schooling philosophy of MBA education in western countries with Chinese local culture and business environment.

Afterwards, Professor Wang Dadi, Assistant Dean introduced briefly the history of the school’s development and reform, its schooling philosophy of “ one main body and two wings ”, the organizational structure of seven departments, one research institute and one center, and also the prospect of the newly established Department of Capital Finance.

Then Professor Alan Eisher gave an overview of Pace University and its Lubin School of Business, especially its excellent location near Wall Street in New York City, the school’s leading major fields, and its top 10 internship programs across America. Furthermore, he shared his unique insights on cross-regional and cross-cultural communication, which are of particular importance, especially in overcoming cultural barriers that are crucial in international business operations.

And finally, the teachers and students of the two schools exchanged views with one another, some expressing that through such exchanges, they learned more about the different teaching modes between China and the United States, the different cultural backgrounds, their respective learning experience and life experiences, and all those would absolutely help to form a more clear mind for MBA students.
