Shuo Zhang is an assistant at the China University of Political Science and Law, with a Ph.D. in Economic Sociology from Cornell University. Her research spans Chinese enterprises' outbound investment, emerging market companies' internationalization, the digital economy, and sustainable development. She has published in top journals, including "Eurasian Geography and Economics" and "Journal of Business Research," covering topics like green innovation's impact on SMEs and competitive relations among Chinese businesses in Africa. Zhang has also led research on the "Belt and Road" initiative and actively contributes to academic conferences and journals as a peer reviewer.
