Prof. ZHU Xiaowu’s main research interest includes Digital economy and finance, FinTech, Social Media and Capital Market Regulation, Business Simulation, and Data Equity Capitalization. He got PhD from Guanghua School of management, Peking University. He has made short-term exchange visits to Santa Fe Institute, Harvard Business School and Asia Pacific Economic Research Institute of University of Macau. He was once the vice president of Business School of China University of political and law and the director of capital finance department. He won the “Award for excellent teachers of China University of political and law”, “Excellent scientific research achievement award of China University of political and law”, “Award for excellent teaching achievement", “Young talents of Beijing University”, “Youth academic innovation team of China University of political and law”. He is responsible for many important National projects, such as National Social Science Fund of China National, Natural Science Fund, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Fund Project, and Beijing Education Reform Project.
He issued the first domestic blockchain innovation and supervision evaluation report (2020), which conducted legal and commercial evaluation on the blockchain enterprises in China. This report provided an index system of blockchain innovation and supervision for the development of China's digital economy. He has published books “Blockchain and real industry: redefining digital economy”, “Data equity capitalization and supervision: personal information protection and value realization in the era of big data”.
