Zhiwu Hong is an associate professor and vice-director of the department of capital finance at the Business School of the China University of Political Science and Law. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Tongji University in 2011 and his Ph.D. in economics from Xiamen University in 2017. From July 2017 to August 2018, he conducted postdoctoral research in the Finance Department of the Business School at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research areas encompass asset pricing, quantitative finance, macroeconomics, financial regulation, and other related fields. In 2022, he was awarded a Youth Project grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His research has been published in renowned domestic and international economic and financial journals such as “Economic Research,” “Journal of Financial Research,” “Journal of Econometrics,” “Economic Modelling,” “International Review of Economics & Finance,” “Quantitative Finance,” and “China Finance Review International.”
